Instruction Redirect URLs Manager for Opencart


    Download and install

  1. Download the plugin archive from Shop Pinta store and save it on your computer.

  2. In the admin panel of your site, select Extensions (1) > Installer (2).

  3. In the Upload your extensions block, click the Upload button (3).




  1. In the window that opens, select the plugin archive (1) and click the Open button (2).




  1. Clear the cache. Go to the Modifications subcategory (1), check the PINTA REDIRECT MANAGER checkbox (2), click the Clear (3) and Refresh (4) buttons.




  1. Go to the Extensions subcategory (1) in the list of Modules (2), find the Redirect Manager plugin and click the Install (3) button.






    Click the Edit button to configure the plugin.

    To create a redirect click the Add redirect button.




    The Add redirect page displays the following such fields:

  1. Type (1) - to select the type of redirection:

  • Redirect from URL to URL - redirects from one URL to another URL.

  • Redirect with keyword replacement - a redirect is performed with the replacement of keywords in the URL.

  • Redirect from URL containing seo keyword to another URL - a redirect from one URL containing the keyword seo to another URL.

  1. Redirect from (2) - enter the details of the page from which the redirection will be made.

  2. Redirect to (3) - enter the details of the page to which the redirection will be made.

  3. Redirect code (4) - select the redirect code.




    Click the Save button to save the new redirection.




    The Plugin page consists of 4 tabs:


  1. Setting tab (1).


    In the General block, the plug-in is enabled / disabled by selecting the appropriate status in the Status field (2).


    In the Redirects block, redirection settings are made:

  1. Add redirect after editing product (3) - enable / disable adding a redirect after editing a product.

  2. Add redirect after deleting product (4) - enable / disable adding a redirect after removing a product.

  3. Redirect destination after deleting product (5) - the place to be redirected after a product is removed.


    In the 404 URLs block, you can configure the parameters for ignoring 404 URLs:

  1. Enable record of 404 URLs field (6) - for enable / disable the recording of a 404 error in the 404 URLs table (select Enabled/Disabled).

  2. Ignore URLs field (7) - for entering URLs that will be ignored and will not automatically fit into the table.

  3. Ignore IPs field (8) - for entering IPs that will be ignored and will not automatically fit into the table.

  4. Ignore User-Agents field (9) - for entering User-Agents that will be ignored and will not automatically fit into the table.




  1. The Redirects tab (1) consists of:


  1. Filter by type field (2) - you can select by which parameter the created redirects will be displayed in the table.

  2. Filter by From URL field (3) - you can filter the table by the URL from which the redirect is made.

  3. Filter by To URL field (4) - you can filter the table by the URL to redirect to.

  4. Page size field (5) - select the number of lines to display on one page.

  5. To apply the settings in the table, press the Filter button (6).

  6. To create an empty redirection template, press the +Empty button (7).

  7. To reset the counters of transitions selected in the redirection table, click the Selected counters button (8).

  8. To remove selected redirects from the table, press the Selected button (9).

  9. To reset the counters of all redirections from the table, click the All counters button (10).

  10. To remove all redirects from the table, click the All button (11).

  11. Table (12) displays all the URLs redirect, which you have created.




    The table displays:

  1. All created redirects with saved parameters (1) that you can edit - Type, From URL, To URL.

  2. The counter of transition Count (2).

  3. The date of creating to redirect Date (3).

  4. The status of redirect Status (4) - Enabled / Disabled.

  5. The Save button (5) - to save redirection changes.

  6. The Remove button (6) - to remove this redirection.




  1. In the 404 URLs tab (1), you can configure the display of the 404 URLs table by the following filter:


  1. Filter by URL field (2) - you can filter the table by URL.

  2. Filter by User-Agent field (3) - you can filter the table by User-Agent.

  3. Filter by IP field (4) - you can filter the table by IP.

  4. Page size (5) field - select the number of lines to display on one page.


    To apply the settings in the table, press the Filter button (6).

    Table (7) displays all transitions to 404 URLs with all parameters.




    The 404 URLs table displays:

  1. All transitions to 404 URLs (URL, IP address, User-Agent, Referer, Date).

  2. The Add redirect button (2) - to add a redirect.

  3. The Remove button (3) - to remove a specific 404 URLs from the table.


    To delete all 404 URLs from the table, press the Delete all 404 urls button (4).




  1. In the CSV import / export (1) tab, you can export / import the created earlier redirects.


    In the Import block (2), settings for file’s importing a with redirections are made:

  1. The CSV delimiter field (3) - you can select how redirects will be separated in the file (Comma, Semicolon, Tab).

  2. The Choose File button (4) - to select a file from your computer. 

  3. The Download example file button (5) - you can download an example of redirects.

  4. There are checkboxes for selecting the settings for the downloaded file:

  • Skip rows with already exist ‘from’ (6).

  • Set date added to now (7).

  • Set count to zero (8).

  • Set status to enable (9).

    After all the settings, to import redirects, click the Import redirects button (10).


    In the Export redirects block (11), the redirects created using this module are exported.

    In the CSV delimiter field (12), you can choose how the redirects will be separated in the file (Comma, Semicolon, Tab).

    To export the created redirects, click the Export button (13).




    Click the Save button to save the plugin settings.




    Now you can create URL redirects without technical knowledge and problems.
