Instruction Redirect URLs Manager for PrestaShop
Download and install
Download the plugin archive from Shop Pinta store and save it on your computer.
In the admin panel of your site, select Module (1) > Module manager (2).
Click the Upload a module button (3).
In the pop-up window, click on select file.
In the opened window select the plugin archive (1) and click the Open button (2).
Click the Configure button to configure the plugin.
Plugin home page
The plugin home page consists of:
PAGES block (1) includes three pages:
Redirects (2) - for creating redirects.
Not found URLs (3) - page, where URLs with 404 errors are written.
SCV export / import redirects (4) - for export / import of created redirects.
In block SETTINGS (5) you can:
Configure enable / disable redirection by moving the Enable redirects slider (6) to the YES/NO position.
Automatically create a redirect if the product link changes. To do this, move the Add redirect for updated products slider (7) to the YES position.
Automatically create a redirect after deleting an item. To do this, move the Add redirect from deleted products slider (8) to the YES position.
In the Default code field (9) you can select the default redirect code.
In the Redirect destination for deleted products field (10), you can select the place, where the redirection will be carried out after deleting the product.
Configure enable / disable recording of 404 errors in the 404 URLs table by moving the Enable 404 record slider (11) to the YES/NO position.
Ignore URLs field (12) - for entering URLs that will be ignored and will not automatically fit into the table.
Ignore IPs field (13) - for entering IPs that will be ignored and will not automatically fit into the table.
Ignore User-Agents field (14) - for entering User-Agents that will be ignored and will not automatically fit into the table.
To save the plug-in settings, click the Save button (15).
The Redirects page displays a table with the previously created redirects.
The table has a block for searching created redirects (1), the Edit button (2) for editing and the Delete button (3) for deleting a created redirection.
To create a new redirect click the Add new redirect button.
The Add redirect page displays the following fields:
From URL (1) - enter the details of the page from which the redirection will be made.
To URL (2) - enter the details of the page to be redirected to.
In the Code field (3) - select the redirect code.
Press the Save button (4) to save the new redirection, or press the Cancel button (5) to cancel.
Not Found URLs page
The Not Found URLs page displays a table with 404 URLs.
The table has a 404 URLs lookup block (1), the Delete button (2) for deleting and the Redirect button (3) to create a new redirection.
SCV export / import redirects page
On the SCV export / import redirects page, you can export / import previously created redirects.
In the Export block (1), is used to export the redirects that you created using this module.
In the CSV delimiter field (2), you can choose how the redirects will be separated in the file (Comma, Semicolon).
To export the created redirects, click the Export button (3).
In the Import block (4), settings for importing a file with redirections there are.
In the CSV delimiter field (5) - you can choose how the redirects will be separated in the file (Comma, Semicolon).
In the Start from row field (6) - enter from which row your redirects will be written.
If you want to skip redirects with already existing `from url` move the slider Skip redirects with already exist` from url` (7) to the YES position.
If you want to set the transition counter to zero, move the Reset counters slider (8) to the YES position.
If you want to set the status for all redirects to the Enable position, move the Set status to enable slider (9) to the YES position.
To select a file from your computer, press the Choose File button (10).
After all the settings, click the Import button (11) to import redirects.
Now you can create URL redirects without technical knowledge and problems.
