Instruction Facebook Feed for CS-cart
Upload and install
Download the archive with a plugin in the Shop Pinta store and save it on your computer.
In the admin panel of your website, select Add-ons > Manage add-ons.
Click the Upload & install add-on button.
Upload the archive of the plugin from your computer (1, 2, 3) and click the Upload & install button (4).
To configure the plugin, select the Marketing > Facebook Feed Product section, which appears in the main menu of the admin panel after installation.
The Companies field (1). Select the vendor whose products you want to upload to the feed.
The Language field (2). Select the language to display products in the feed in accordance with the language of products on your site.
The Currency field (3). Select the currency type of your goods.
Fields Color, Size, Pattern, Material (4). Choose matching options on your website with Facebook options.
Fields Name, Description, Image link, Brand, Availability (5). Choose which empty fields will be replaced with the selected ones.
Check the checkbox Upload goods without images (6), if you want your goods without images to be uploaded to the feed, and the cs-cart logo will be automatically added.
Check the box Do not use the Google category (7), if you do not want to use the Google categories.
The Update Google Category Feed field (8). To refresh the list of categories, click the Save button. By default, a list of categories is already in the plugin.
In the category table, select the match for your categories on the site in the Category column (1) of the main category in the Google main category column (2) (obligatorily).
Additionally, you can specify subcategories in the Google subcategory column, the more accurate - the better.
After filling in the previous fields, click the Save button.
To generate the feed as a link, click Generate xml to the web page (1).
To download the feed in xml format, click the Generate xml to file button (2). The data feed opens in a new window.
The Command for cron block displays the command for cron.
You can also generate a feed depending on the currency and language.
In the Generation of url depending on currency and language block, select the language (1) and currency (2) options. To generate a feed, click on the Create link button (3). The data feed opens in a new window.
Sign up for a Facebook account and create Catalog in your Facebook advertising account (if this hasn’t been done in advance).
Copy the feed address in the browser row and paste into the file upload field in your Facebook Сatalog.
Upload the feed to your Facebook Сatalog.
In the opened page Add items to your catalogue select Use bulk upload block (1) and click the Next button (2).
In the opened Use bulk upload menu tub select the Scheduled feed option (1) and click the Next button (2).
Copy the address of the generated feed into the browser bar.
Paste it into the Enter URL field (1) and click the Next button (2).
In the tab that opens, select needed option for Plan of update schedule (1) and click the Next button (2).
In the tab that opens, name your data source (1), select currency (2) and click the Next button (3).
Wait for the product to load from the feed (1) and click the Items button (2).
All products from your website are uploaded to the Facebook Catalog Manager.
