Instruction Image Compress with reSmush for Opencart3.0

    Download and install

  1. Download the plugin archive in the Shop Pinta store and save it on your computer.

  2. In the admin panel of your site, select Extensions (1) > Installer (2).

  3. In the Upload your extensions section, click the Upload (3) button.

  1. In the window that opens, select the plugin archive (1) and click the Open button (2).

  1. Clear the cache. Go to the Modifications subcategory (1), check the box (2), click the Clear (3) and Refresh (4) buttons.

  1. Go to the Extensions subcategory (1) in the Modules list (2), find the Image compress with Resmush plugin and click the Install button (3).

  1. To configure the plugin, click the Edit button.

    Enable the plugin by selecting On in the Enabled status field.

    Click the Save button.

    In the Settings block, you can select the checkboxes:

  1. gzip enabled (1) - check the box if you want to enable gzip compression for your site.

  2. Save original (2) - check the box if you want to save the original files.

  3. Lazy load enabled (3) - check the box if you want to increase the site loading speed using lazy-load images

  4. Auto convert images checkbox (4) - check the box for automatic image conversion.

  5. In the Quality of compress field (5) - enter a numerical value for the compression quality.

    After the plug-in settings, click the Save Settings button (6).

    To open the Sitemap in a new browser window, click on the Sitemap button.

    Images from database displays the image blocks used on your site. 

    To compress the entire site, click the Compress all (1) button, to return files to the original settings, click Return all original (2).

    Each block of images, such as, for example, the Compress manufacturer images block (3) includes:

  1. Compress button (4) for compressing images related to the Compress manufacturer images block.

  2. Return original button (5) to return images to their original state.

  3. Manufacturer images (6) - the number of images in the Compress manufacturer images block.

  4. Compressed product images (7) - the number of processed images.
