Instruction Image Compress with Squeezeimg for CS-cart
Download and install
Download the plugin archive in the Shop Pinta store and save it on your computer.
In the admin panel of your website, select Add-ons (1) > Manage add-ons (2).
In the Add-ons menu click the Upload & install add-on button (3).
Click the Local button (4), select the archive of the plugin from your computer (5) and click the Open button (6). Then click the Upload & install button.
To configure the plugin, select the Website section (1) > Image compress with Squeezeimg (2), which appears after installation.
To activate the plugin, select Enabled in the Status field (1) and click the Save button (2).
Plugin settings page consists of tabs:
Global settings (1).
Lazy load (5).
Image sitemap (6).
The Global settings tab consists of:
The Status field (1) - to enable/disable of the plugin (Enabled/Disabled).
The Gzip field (2) - to optimize browser speed.
The Quantity images send field (3) - to select the number of simultaneously processed images.
The Secret Token field (4) - to enter your API key that you will receive after registering with the Squeezeimg service.
The Generate token button (5) - allows you to go to the Squeezeimg service window, in which the API key is generated.
To receive your token, click the Generate token button (1).
In the Squeezeimg service window that opens, click on the SIGN UP button (1) to register an account or Login (2) if you are already registered on the service.
After registration, go to the My account section (1), open Api tab (2) and click the GENERATION NEW KEY button (3). Your token is generated in the API KEY field (4).
The Plan block (5) displays the image limit, operations used and the number of days. If necessary, the limit of images can be increased if you pay for any Squeezeimg plan in the Pricing tab (6).
Insert the generated token from the API KEY field into the Secret Token field (1) and click the Save button (2).
Depending on the format that you need using the Jpeg/WEBP/JP2 tab, you can compress images with conversion to Jpeg, WEBP or Jp2 formats.
The Jpeg, WEBP, JP2 tabs include fields:
Jpeg/Webp/Jp2 compress (1) - to enable/disable converting images into the appropriate format.
Quality compress jpeg/webp/jp2 (2) - to select the image compression rate (%).
The All compress images/All webp images/All jp2 images block displays the total number of images on your website (string All images (3)) and the number of all compressed images (string All compress images (4)).
To start optimizing images, click the Compress/Compress & convert button (5). If necessary, you can return images to the size they were before compression. To do this, click the Return Jpeg button (6).
In the Lazy load tab, you can enable/disable the lazy load function.
If you want to load only the images displayed on the user's screen when loading the website pages, in the Lazy load status field select Enabled.
This will speed up the loading of web pages and increase user loyalty.
In the Image sitemap tab, a link to a feed with a complete map of your website's images is generated. Use this link for Google Search Console and Yandex.Webmaster services.
Your website's image map is dynamically updated to help search engines find and index the actual images of your website faster.
Now your website images are optimized and much smaller.
