Instruction SMS Notifications Sender for Opencart


Download and install

 

  1. Download the plugin archive from the Shop Pinta store and save it on your computer.

  2. In the admin panel of your website, select Extensions (1) > Installer (2).

  3. In the Upload your extensions block, click the Upload button (3).

 



  1. In the opened window, select the plugin archive (1) and click the Open button (2).




  1. Clear the cache (recommended). Go to the Modifications subcategory (1), select the plugin checkbox, click the Clear (2) and Refresh (3) buttons.




  1. Go to the Extensions subcategory (1) and in the Extension List select Modules (2).




  1. Find the SMS Notifications Sender plugin and click the Install button (3).




  1. To configure the plugin, click the Edit button.






Plugin page


On the plugin page, you can configure events and providers for automatic sending of SMS notifications.


The General tab (1) consists of fields:


  1. SMS status (2) - to enable / disable the plugin (position Enabled / Disabled).

  2. SMS API (3) -.to select what SMS provider will be sent an SMS notification to the client / administrator.




The Events tab (1) allows you to configure SMS᠎ notification using the following blocks:


  • Send SMS to customer - to automatically send SMS notifications to the customer.


  1. On new Quick Order placed (2).


To enable / disable sending an SMS notification to the client after placing the Quick Order (Buy In Click) form, select the appropriate status in the Status field (3) (position Enabled / Disabled).

In the Message block, enter the message text to the input field (5), and select the message language (4) depending on the language used on your website. Use short codes for the message template.




  1. On new order placed (2).


To enable / disable sending an SMS notification to the client after placing a new order, select the appropriate status in the Status field (3) (position Enabled / Disabled).

In the Message block, enter the message text to the input field (5), and select the message language (4) depending on the language used on your website. Use short codes for the message template.




  1. On order status change (1).


To enable / disable sending an SMS notification to the client after changing the order status, select the appropriate status in the Status field (2) (position Enabled / Disabled).

In the Order status block (3), select the checkboxes of the order statuses, after changing which an SMS notification will be sent.

In the Message block (4), enter the message text to the input field, and select the message language depending on the language used on your website. Use short codes for the message template.




  1. On successful signup (1).


To enable / disable sending an SMS notification to the client after successful registration on the website, select the appropriate status in the Status field (2) (position Enabled / Disabled).

In the Message block (3), enter the message text to the input field, and select the message language depending on the language used on your website. Use short codes for the message template.




  • Send SMS to store owner - to automatically send SMS notifications to the administrator.


  1. On new Quick Order placed (1).


To enable / disable sending an SMS notification to the administrator if the client has placed the Quick Order (Buy In Click) form, select the appropriate status in the Status field (2) (position Enabled / Disabled).

In the Message block (3), enter the message text to the input field. Use short codes for the message template.




  1. On new order placed (1).


To enable / disable sending an SMS notification to the administrator if the client has placed a new order on the website, select the appropriate status in the Status field (2) (position Enabled / Disabled).

In the Message block (3), enter the message text to the input field. Use short codes for the message template.




  1. On successful signup (1).


To enable / disable sending an SMS notification to the administrator after successful registration on the website, select the appropriate status in the Status field (2) (position Enabled / Disabled).

In the Message block (3), enter the message text to the input field. Use short codes for the message template.




The Settings tab (1) consists of blocks:


  1. Sms with unicode (2) - to check the box to send SMS notifications using unicode.

  2. Admins phone numbers - to add the administrator's phone number:

  • select a country from the drop-down list (3) and enter the phone number in the input field (4),

  • then click the Add button (5) to save the phone number.




The plugin allows you to configure the sending of SMS notifications using the following SMS providers:


  1. The Clickatell tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the Clickatell provider (1), in the API Key field (2) enter your data copied from the Clickatell website after registration.

  1. The GatewayAPI tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the GatewayAPI provider (1), in the API Key (2), API Secret Key (3) and Token (4) fields enter your data copied from the GatewayAPI website after registration.


In the Sender field (5), enter the sender name, which will be displayed in the message.

  1. The BulkGate tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the BulkGate provider (1), in the Application ID (2) and Token (3) fields enter your data copied from the BulkGate website after registration.


In the Sender field (4), enter the sender name, which will be displayed in the message.

  1. The TurboSms tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the TurboSms provider (1), in the Token field (2) enter your data copied from the TurboSms website after registration.


In the Sender field (3), enter the sender name, which will be displayed in the message.

  1. The SmsRu tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the SmsRu provider (1), in the API ID field (2) enter your data copied from the SmsRu website after registration.


In the Sender field (3), enter the sender name, which will be displayed in the message.

  1. The ePochtaSms tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the ePochtaSms provider (1), in the Public Key, Private Key (2) and Sender (3) fields enter your data copied from the ePochta website after registration.

  1. The RedSms tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the RedSms provider (1), in the Login (2) and API Key (3) fields enter your data copied from the RedSms website after registration.


In the Sender field (4), enter the sender name, which will be displayed in the message.

  1. The Bytehand tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the ByteHand provider (1), in the API Key field (2) and Sender (3) enter your data copied from the ByteHand website after registration.

  1. The IntelTele tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the IntelTelecom provider (1), in the Username (2), API Key (3) and Sender (4) fields enter your data copied from the IntelTele.com website after registration.

  1. The DigitalDirect tab.


To activate sending SMS notifications through the DigitalDirect provider (1), in the API Key (2) and Sender (3) fields enter your data copied from the i-digital direct website after registration.

After selecting the settings, click the Save button.




Now your clients and administrator can receive SMS notifications after registering on the website, successfully placing an order or after changing the order status.
