Instruction SMS Notifications Sender for Opencart


    Download and install

  1. Download the plugin archive from Shop Pinta store and save it on your computer.

  2. In the admin panel of your site, select Extensions (1) > Installer (2).

  3. In the Upload your extensions block, click the Upload button (3).




  1. In the opened window, select the plugin archive (1) and click the Open button (2).



  1. Clear the cache. Go to the Modifications subcategory (1), click the Clear (2) and Refresh (3) buttons.



  1. Go to the Extensions subcategory (1) in the list of Modules (2), find the SMS Notifications Sender plugin and click the Install (3) button.




    To configure the plugin, click the Edit button.

    The plugin has five SMS providers:


  1. SmsRu (1).


    To configure the SmsRu provider's SMS, enter your data copied from the SmsRu website after registration in the API ID field (2).

    In the Sender field (3), enter the data to be displayed in the message from whom the SMS came.




You can copy API ID after registration on the SmsRu website:




  1. TurboSms (1).


    To configure the TurboSms provider's SMS, enter your data copied from the TurboSms website after registration in the Token field (2).

    In the Sender field (3), enter the data to be displayed in the message from whom the SMS came from.




    You can copy Token after registration on the site TurboSms website:




  1. BulkGate (1).


    To configure the BulkGate provider's SMS, enter your data copied from the BulkGate website after registration in the Application ID (2) and Token (3) fields.

    In the Sender field (4), enter the data to be displayed in the message from whom the SMS came.




    You can copy Application ID, Token after registration on the BulkGate website:




  1. GatewayAPI (1).


    To configure the GatewayAPI provider's SMS, enter your data copied from the GatewayAPI website after registration in the fields: API Key (2), API Secret Key (3) and Token (4).

    In the Sender field (5), enter the data to be displayed in the message from whom the SMS came.




    You can copy API Key, API Secret Key и Token after registration on the GatewayAPI website:




  1. Clickatell (1).


    To configure the Clickatell provider's SMS, enter in the field API Key (2) your data copied from the Clickatell website after registration.

    In the Settings tab (1) you can configure:

  1. If you want to send / receive SMS notifications with unicode, check the SMS with unicode (2) checkbox.

  2. Administrators' phone numbers to receive SMS messages - select the country in the drop-down list (3) and enter the phone number in the Admins phone numbers field (4). Press the Add button (5) to save the phone number.




    In the Events tab (1), you can configure SMS notification:


  1. On new order placed (2). For enabling / disabling the sending an SMS messages to the client after placing a new order, select Enable / Disable in the Status field (3).


    Enter the text that will be displayed in the SMS message in the field (5). You can choose a different language for message (4) depending on the selected language on the website.




  1. On order status change (1). For enabling / disabling sending an SMS message to the client after changing the order status, select Enable / Disable in the Status field (2).


    Using the Order status checkbox (3), select which order status changes you want to send to the customer via SMS.

    In the Message block (4), enter the text that will be displayed in the SMS message. You can choose a different language for message depending on the selected language on the website.




  1. On successful signup (1). For enabling / disabling the sending an SMS message to the client after successful registration on the site, select Enable / Disable in the Status field (2).


    In the Message block (3), enter the text that will be displayed in the SMS message. You can choose a different language for message depending on the selected language on the website.




  1. On new order placed (1). For enabling / disabling sending SMS messages to the administrator after placing a new order on the site, select Enable / Disable in the Status field (2).


    In the Message block (3), enter the text that will be displayed in the SMS message. You can choose a different language for message depending on the selected language on the website.




  1. On successful signup (1). For enable / disable sending SMS messages to the administrator after successful registration on the site, select Enable / Disable in the Status field (2).


    In the Message block (3), enter the text that will be displayed in the SMS message. You can choose a different language for message depending on the selected language on the website.




    In the General tab (1), the plug-in is enabled / disabled by selecting the appropriate value in the SMS status field (2).

    In the SMS API field (3), select the SMS provider that will be used to send SMS notification to the client / administrator.




    After selecting settings, click the Save button.




    Now your clients and administrator can receive SMS notifications after registering on the site, successfully placing an order or after changing the order status.
