SEO Meta Tags Generator Pro for OpenCart 1.5-4.x

SEO Meta Tags Generator Pro automatically fills the page title, meta description and meta keywords across your whole OpenCart storefront. Instead of writing meta tags by hand for every product, category, manufacturer and information page, you define a reusable template once with token variables, and the extension generates the meta on the fly for every matching page.

The generated meta is computed live at render time — your stored catalog meta is never overwritten, so you can change templates or disable the extension at any time without losing data. By default the generator only fills pages that have no admin-set meta; an "Overwrite existing meta tags" toggle restores full overwrite when you need it. This template-driven approach removes the duplicate and empty meta tags that hold back indexing on large catalogs.

You control the exact output. A template like %p (%b) - %c | %sn %yr produces a clean, descriptive title from the product name, brand, category, store name and current year. The %$ price token renders in the visitor's selected currency with the correct symbol. Manufacturer/Brand pages are a fully templatable entity and resolve correctly even with SEO/SEF URLs enabled.

Generated values are normalized (HTML stripped, whitespace collapsed), length-clamped on a word boundary (title up to 60, description up to 160 characters) to stay within search-engine display limits, and HTML-attribute-escaped before output — preventing attribute/tag breakout (stored XSS) from token-sourced catalog data. Encoding is correct on every OpenCart engine (raw .tpl and Twig).
